7. What is the difference between a prick punch a center punch?
-A center punch tool is a special type of punch tool that's used to create a shallow indention in a workpiece for the purpose of drilling. Prior to drilling a hole in a workpiece, a worker may use a center punch tool to “mark” the area of the workpiece where the drill bit will enter. While,a prick punch is similar to a center punch but used for marking out. It has a sharper angled tip to produce a narrower and deeper indentation. The indentation can then be enlarged with a center punch for drilling.
